Plan Status Delineate plan on Zoning Atlas Recognize that there are areas of Lutz that are urban and rural. Maintain 1 acre lot minimum, unless clustered. Clustering requires a minimum of 30 acres in rural areas of Lutz. Flex provision of FLUE categories is not permitted in the rural areas of Lutz. Lots on local roads must front on local roads. Fences and walls shall be rural in character and no opaque screening (other than vegetation) is permitted along public right-of-ways in rural areas of Lutz. Overlay district will be prepared for US 41 and Lutz Lake Fern Road area, recognized as the Community�s Activity Center. New Commercial zoning is encouraged at three activity nodes along US 41: Lutz�s historic downtown area to Newberger Rd. Crystal Lake Road to Sunset Lane; and Crenshaw Lake Road area. High schools are to be located on major (4 lane or greater) roads.
