The Riverview Community Plan was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners into the Comprehensive Plan in 2005 (Effective 8/8/05). Work on the plan began at a public meeting in May 2003. Currently, staff of The Planning Commission and Hillsborough County Planning & Growth Management Department are working with the Riverview community to acheive the seven Visions found in the Riverview Community Plan.
